It was utterly lovely, great standards and good food. A really pretty place.
Lovely hotel staff very helpful
The only thing i would say was the bed was a bit to hard for me
Nothing in particular it was all very good.
Proximity to airport, yet countryside surroundings.Little aircraft noise. Ample parking space.
Excellent location, very close to Gatwick but also very peaceful.
Nobody available on reception when we checked in and checked out (4pm Saturday and 8.30 am Sunday). We had to wait quite a while and eventually go looking for someone to help us.
Friendly staff - lovely surroundings - beautiful views.
Reception closed when we arrived (around 6pm) and it took us a while to find a member of staff to open it. Later - when we arrived back from the village at around 11.30pm the whole place was locked up and in darkness and it took us some time to rouse the (albeit very helpful) staff member.
Quiet. Good Food
Very much orientated to wedding market, and this showed.
Friendly staff. Impressive bulding. Original room allocation not as expected but did change.
Arrived late and no 24 hour room service for food.
The hotel is set in a country house which is very beautiful however it is not suitable for business travellers.
The restaurant closes at 9.30 and there is no room service available. Despite there being customers in the bar - the bar was closed at 10.30pm. This is a country house which no doubt is very beautiful for weddings but it does not offer the services you would expect from a normal hotel.
The location was very nice, and so was the hotel.
The restaurant closed before the time because nobody went there to have a eat... and we had to go to a bar...
The setting, the public areas and its' convenience for Gatwick Airport.
We had booked two 'classic' rooms and they were small and cramped, 4ft 6ins bed with only just enough room to walk around and a very poorly designed bathroom. The room we had was also looking rather tired.
Lovely room and comfy bed. Very close to Gatwick but not a bog standard chain of the usual rooms Breakfast OK
the dinner could have been lovely, but the duck was not good and the cheese platter mean for the price. The wine was good. We were confused find room as we were not told it was on second floor through a door!
